to reset my password i enter my email address, but nothing ever arrives there, the email address is correct, the spam folder is empty ...

Can you take one extra step and add no-reply@dropbox.com to your email contacts? After that, I’d like you to reset your password once again. 

 

Are you receiving the reset email now perhaps?
