password problem

Hello everybody,

 

I opened an account 6 years ago and there were documents belonging to me in it. When I log into my account, it directs me to verify the password to my e-mail address. but I cannot activate the password of my e-mail address. I do not have access to the e-mail page. how can i solve this problem. ?

Hi @fotograf 

 

2 issues here.... do you have ANY device that is still logged in? If not its almost certain you cannot recover the account. Without access to the email you cannot get in: https://help.dropbox.com/account-access/lost-email-access

 

Second one.... how long is it since you last logged in? If over 12 months ago the account would have been deleted now for inactivity I'm afraid.

Hi Mark,

 

unfortunately, this account is not active on any device, and I have not used this account for a long time 😕 

I guess I have to try to activate my email address, otherwise I guess I won't be able to access my account 😞
