In my Dropbox Account settings, I changed my email address, but Dropbox sync still shows my old email. I waited a couple hours, then I rebooted my computers, and Dropbox sync still uses my old email address.
How can I get Dropbox sync to use my new updated email address? Thanks in advance for your help!
Thanks for the swift and elaborate response - much appreciated @Derning!
Could you please try unlinking and re-linking your account again on this device?
Keep me posted on your progress too please.

Hey there @Derning - how are you today?
I understand that you've changed email address on your account's settings tab online yet you don't see the changes reflect on your synced computers - did I get it right?
Can you please send me a screenshot (omitting personal information) of what you describe in order to have a visual as well?
Thanks!

As you'd be relinking the same account, the desktop app should only take a few moments to re-index your Dropbox folder and sync any pending changes before returning to normal activity.
Let me know how this goes @Derning!

I cannot eliminate [personal information removed per the Community's Guidelines] because it is no longer available. When I add my present email [personal information removed per the Community's Guidelines], dropbox tells me that email is taken. Yes, it's mine;it's taken by me. Help. Do I put my gmail as secondary email? If so, when verification is sent to defunct centurytel email, I cannot access it.

That means there's already a Dropbox account using that email address. Each email address can only be used with a single Dropbox account.
