Dear all,

 

I have the following problem. 

The email connected to my dropbox account is going to expire in about 10 days and I'll lose access to it permantently, so I need to update it urgently.

I tried to modify my dropbox email to my secondary email address, but it happens that time ago I created a dropbox account connected to that email, and I'm not really using it.

That provokes that I cannot use my secondary email address with my main dropbox account.

I don't mind deleting my secondary dropbox account in order to release that email for use in the main one.

Would that work?

Hi @andreadandrea 

 

Yes it would - you need to log in to that secondary account (use www.dropbox.com/forgot if needed) and then delete it.

 

I'd also suggest you are actually wanting to CHANGE the email on your main account now not add this one as as secondary email - its just not worth the risk.
