I need to change my email address as I no longer have access to the email. (Provider is useless) The instructions on Dropbox help simply don't work. Things are in different places to where they say they are and when you do find the right tab there is no 'edit' button thereby making it impossible. I am using a desktop Mac.
I am being asked to open an demail at the address I can no longer reach, what do I do- Mauxmoney
Hey @Mauxmoney, I'm not really clear on the issue, would you mind sending us a screenshot of what you see?
Just make sure to hide any personal info on the screenshot.

Sorry Hanna, I was wrong. I did have a duplicate account. This arose from an incorrect procedure to change my password. I deleted 1 account and hope the problem is solved now. Thank you for your help.

I'm trying to delete my main account e-mail, (since it hasen't been in service for 10+´years and dosn't exist anymore.
By I'm not allowed to change mail. What is woring?

Is it also saying that the email is already in use? If so, it means there's already a Dropbox account associated with that email address.
No it just says:
Hey @Eventyrridderne, sorry to jump in here, but could it be that there's already an account associated with this email address of yours?
Have you tried another email address as a test perhaps?
