Secondary email set as Primary email. Not sure how to achieve that?

I've been trying for a long time to reset my primary email. When I try to up date it creates an error. I have been able to set the desired email as the secondary. however when I try to make the secondary the primary I again get an error message.

I've asked for support via chat and they just say the same things over and over and no success.

Any tips?
