Why do I have two separate accounts after trying to update my email address?

Why do I have two separate accounts after trying to update my email address?

I tried to update my email address in my original dropbox account because the email was

no longer active. What resulted seeems to be that I now have two accounts. One which

references the dead email address, and one that has my current working email. It's very

confusing and I want to get rid of the account with the old email. When I launch DB

from my taskbar it takes me to the old account by default. where It says I need to

update my email address. when I try to update it, I get an error message saying

the email already exists.

Hey @dave synth, thanks for letting us know about this.

Would you be able to send us a few screenshots showing this issue?

Of course, please make sure to hide the actual email addresses from the screenshots, but I think if we had a visual, it would be really helpful.

Also, if you open a private browsing/incognito window, for example, are you able to sign in using both emails?

Let me know what you find.
