Android6: Saving a complete folder offline

Hi,

Im running Android 6.0.1 (MIUI) with the latest Dropbox App. I want to select a folder to be downloaded / synced offline to my smartphone. I read the manual here:

https://www.dropbox.com/help/mobile/offline-folders

-> but this option is not there for me. Whenever I click on the arrow-down of my folder which I wanna keep synced offline, it only shows the options "share, rename, move, copy, delete" - nothing else.

I'm using PIN / Fingerprint Option to access the app, if that's the reason?

Any ideas why?

Thanks!

Hello, @Björnii S....

According to that Help Center article... in order to save a folder for offline viewing, you must have a Dropbox Plus, Business or Enterprise account (unless I'm interpreting incorrectly).

Do you have one of those types of accounts or a free, Basic account?  If you have a Basic account... you should be able to mark files for offline viewing (see instructions).

Otherwise, if none of above answers your question, please let us know.

You're welcome... no worries.

Exactly... at least with the Basic account, you can select files for offline viewing.
