Changes made to shared folders

My clients are recieving emails saying I made changes to the shared folder when I have not made any. Why are they recieving these emails?

Hi Paul, could you clarify what changes they’re referring to?
Have you edited, added or deleted files in the shared folder? If so, this is what the email mentions, since you’re technically changing the contents of the shared folder.
If I’m misunderstanding something, please let me know!
