How can I see a specific folder's activity on my account?

My client posts documents to a large number of files in DropBox. I am not an admin and I don't own the files. I receive a notification that something new has been posted but I have to go into every single file to try to find what is new. Can someone suggest a better way? I don't see a console where there is an activity tab.

Hey there @CathyR  - how are you today?

What kind of notification is it to begin with? An email notification perhaps? 

When you say file, do you mean folders maybe? 

In this case, all you'd need to do is locate the file or folder in question in your Dropbox account. Have you tried searching for those files directly at https://www.dropbox.com/  ?

Let me know what you find and we'll take it from there Cathy. Please feel free to include any information you think might help our investigation too!

Hi Walter. Yes, I get an e-mail notification that changes have been made in "my Shared Folders". I've then logged into DropBox but have had to open each and every folder to find out what changes have been made. But now, since you asked about the e-mail, I went back and looked at the actual notification and it looks like perhaps the changes (and the folder(s) ) show up there. So maybe I have now answered my own question. So thank you for prompting me to look more closely at the e-mail notification. If that doesn't work I will check back in but honestly, I'm thinking that my question has been answered. So thank you!
