I'm not seeing any updates on our shared files

Level 2

I have used Drop box for years but here in the last month or two I have shared files with others so they can edit and make comments.  I have checked to ensure they have edit  but I am not seeing any of their updates on my end or even that the file has been viewed.  I know they have editted a version somehwere and saved it back but I am seeing nothing. 

Please help!!!

Hey Susan (@srollyson), from what I gather from your description, I’d assume that your coworkers/friends haven’t added the share on their account & that’s why the changes aren’t syncing across. 
 
Now, their available space maybe the culprit Susan, as a shared folder takes up space in each member's account. In other words, if you’re both on a Basic plan but they’ve used up their quota, they will not be able to add the share on their account. A workaround would be granting your colleagues View-Only access sending them a shared link to the files they’d need to view & gather files in return by sending them a File Request. (Tip: I’ve also created this walkthrough that could be of assistance.)
