Can I download files larger than my 2GB storage from a user with a larger account?

Level 2

I have a 2gb account. Someone with a larger account would like to share files with me. The files will add up to be more than 2gb. I just want to dowload the video files and not store them in my dropbox. Can he share those with me without me having to upgrade?

Dropboxer

Hello there @livianna; of course they can!

In this case, just have them share a link to the said files/folders instead as in this way they won't take up space on your account

Let me know if you need anything else!
