Sharing my files with my wife's computer

Level 5

Do I have to link her for each and every file? Is there not some way to link her to all files at once?

Hi Andy1954,

With Dropbox you can set up a shared folder between you and your wife.
Anything you add to this folder will be synced between both of your computers.

To set this up, open Dropbox in your browser, on the right hand side click on the link "New shared folder".
Here you can either create a new folder to share or choose to share an existing folder.
Once you have selected your preference, click "next" and you will be prompted to input your wife's email address (which is linked to her dropbox account). You can then select whether you would like your wife to be able to edit files in this folder or if you would just like her to be able to view them.  When you are done, click "share"
This will add the folder to both of your dropboxes.

You now have a folder that is shared with your wife, you can add and remove files to this folder and your wife will be able to access them.

I hope this answered your question, have a lovely day.
