My 50 GB has disappeared?? See emails below....

PLEASE HELP!!! I thought this was resolved after 20+ emails and 3 wks!!!!!! But, the 50.25 GB are no longer there when I was using them all of a sudden they were gone and a download stopped half way thru. I have written for 4 days now and about 4 emails. PLEASE HELP. Antonio's email is below (1 of tons) Drop box has a lot of probles I am being told by a freind....is that true? Can you PLEASE fix this error ASAP Thanks, Marilyn

Above is the original request in Oct 4th or so.  It took me about 4 hours of emails and correspondence for someone to fianlly say they had no idea how to fix it and handed it up???!!!  

Grr-r-r-r.......Then they fix it and then it is gone!!  PLEASE PLEASE HELP!

Even if you click on the lionk he provides to show the 50.25 GB is now the total he said I had, it says I have no more space and only have 2,25 GB???????  PLEASE HELP....this is so exhausting and taken so many hours, days, weeks of my precious time and resources.  HELP!!!!!

The case number should have at least 20+emails plus about 40+ screenshots I took to prove I have done EVERYTHING in fact some of them I did 8-9 x's!!!  he guy was so confused and methinks on drugs as he was unable to follow the most basic of threads.  BELOW are about 40 screenshots and proof that EVERYTHING was done many times....and he writes back....ok, now, you still need to do one more thing!!! YIKES!!!  PLEASE stop this insanity (EVEN THO THE PROOF WAS IN FRONT OF HIM THAT IT WAS DONE!!!!  OMG, I cried!!

It still says I haven’t installed it on my computer and it still says I have NOT shared a folder with a friend. The pics are all there to prove it is STILL wrong. The pics all have the date and time on them. It is now almost 1:00 AM on the 31st…..I hope when I check the computer in the morning that DROPBOX will have corrected all these problems going on for 12 days and as a goodwill gesture for what they have put me through they will give me 100 GB. Please let me know……Thanks Anthony……can you believe this???? Lol

Okay, here is the proof. I spoke with friends and this is terrible….I would like to ask that they credit me with 100GB of space for all the time they have taken from me due to errors by DROPBOX. Please ask for this for me Anthony………it is the least they can do.

have been going on since Oct. 18th! If they do not come thru for some
reason let me know and I will send them one by one. This is now over an hr
I have spent on this plus the several hours the past 12 days. Again please

Hi Anthony,,,,here is the 1st of 3 emails with about 205 pics I took to prove I had done everything starting on the 18th of Oct was the first download on my computer after I had downloaded it to my phone. Please let me know when you get these. I am beyond exhausted.

Hopefully now they will credit me……what a nightmare, eh?

Okay, I went ahead and posted it all so you could see how confused he was and ran me around in circles for weeks!  It was terrible and I was so frustrated and sTILL AMM as it is still not credited even tho he said it was and I checked  and yes, it was and then next day I went to use it an mid-way thru a huge download my limit dropped from 50.25 GB to 2.25 and says it is full!!!!  PLEASE....is there no one who can take charge and fix this????? PLEASE PLEASE HELP HELP.......Marilyn  Please? Please?

Do you have all the pics to give them of the screenshots I sent you for everything that was done to prove the 6 steps were taken several weeks ago??

Please let me know….would so appreciate if this could get corrected soon….yikes….is there always problems like this with Drop Box?? Thanks for handing it over to them. I am still not understanding why Drop Box finds this so difficult to correct especially when all the screenshots are there for everything. Please let me know if they have them all, ok?

Hi Anthony….please look at the 15 or 20 screen shots I sent you yesterday and the day before. As you can see it was opened on Oct. 20th

I need you to reread EVERYTHING that I sent you….about 12 emails and about 20-25 screen shots of how everything had been done and even screenshots with the properties and dates!! Please ask your supervisor to contact me tomorrow unless you can take care of everything. And what about the credit of the 100 GB’s for what I have been put thru???

Please let us try to end this as I did want to use Dropbox for my professional photos, but it must be done ASAP. People are waiting for their pictures and I cannot understand why it is taking you so many weeks to take care of this?? Several people I know use it and are watching how this is handled very carefully. Hard to understand why you can not take care of it and I have spent so many hours repeating myself to you. Can you PLEASE have your supervisor to email me?? I continue to ask over and over and over for you have her/him contact me and you do not acknowledge. Just wondering….do you know how to fix this one remaining error, Anthony?? I am not sure if you know how even though all my pictures show clearly for two wks now that 6 steps out of 7 were done?? You seem to have been able to find a few of your errors….and now only one remaining that you are still struggling with even though my pictures clearly show it. Is there someone there who can help you?? Please let me know immediately or many of us will be forced to go elsewhere for all our professional needs. I hope this is clear enough….please do not repeat yourself to me…..just reread my emails and if you can not understand ask your supervisor or a colleague to help you. My writing has been VERY clear…. Let's check a few things. First of all, I am showing that this account, libertymj@shaw.ca was created 4 days ago.

Login to the Dropbox.com website and click the sharing tab. This will show all shared folders and files. Please take a screenshot of this.

Please show the email address logged into the browser in your screenshot. you can do this by clicking on the down arrow next to your name.

Next, go to www.dropbox.com/gettingstarted and take a screenshot of the current steps you have completed. I also need a screenshot of this. Again, please include the email address after clicking the down arrow in your screenshot.

It looks like you only need to complete one more step to get your promotional credit. I would recommend sharing a folder with a colleague that uses Dropbox. Sharing a folder is a cinch! Please refer to the help article below for more information:

Oka Anthony….I have just spent more time than I care to admit….I have about 20 screen pics on my moniter of proof of the errors by DROPBOX. I have pics of the DROPBOX program tab on my computer and AT THE SAME TIME RE-downloading the program again for the 8th or 9th time. I have pics of the downloaded DROPBOX program as all those times it created a file!! I have pics of the date and properties and I first downloaded DROPBOX to my computer and it was first downloaded on my computer on OCTOBER 18th as you will see by the pics. I have pics of me resending it to a friend an invite and sharing pics. And it still is not marked off. And more to come if you need MORE proof that Iw as telling the truth, please call me….PLEASE 204-489-9731. PLEASE? I am exhausted by all of this going on for 12 days now!!! PLEASE tell your supervisor Anthony….isn’t this terrible?? I am so frustrated. MArilyn

OMG…this is getting more ridiculous!! Well, I just went to take the tour AGAIN. I clicked on it and I got an ERROR 500!!! So, I went back to the page and the Tour line WAS all of a sudden crossed off!!! Not sure if it will stay like that or not….but isn’t this ridiculous??

I am going to take the tour yet again……...right now. Let’s see if it gives me credit now. How about this…….wondering if this can help you understand what I am trying to tell you….that I have done 5 things…….I will take pics of my computer moniter to prove to you I am doing the tour and send them to you. Also of my screen with the Dropbox icon. And of the pics in my program. Would that help you to believe me?? As far as inviting my friend….how can I prove that to you?? I can reinvite her as I said for the umpteenth time…but doesn’t look good for Dropbox. Who is going to want to sign up for a program that isn’t working properly from the get-go?? Please let’s get someone involved who can help us get this resolved. Let them see all our correspondence………you have done your very best and still Dropbox won’t leave the lines crossed off. Tell them how hard you have tried to get this resolved…..I can vouch for you….also. Tell them I have spent hours on this……..and ahh-h-h-h, better yet…..ask your supervisor to call me, okay Anthony…..PLEASE??

I just emailed you…..but just thought of this…..did you want me to go through it all again?? I can not download the program to computer as it is already on it and the 8 or 9 x’s I reloaded to get the box crossed off it worked occasionally and then took the credit away. If you look I have pics in my Dropbox. Do you want me to download another one? Also, do you want me to RE-invite my friend???? Know that if I do she will wonder why for 12 days I have been inviting her and still no credit?? Can you not check on all this mess?? I have done EVERYTHING asked of me 8 or 9 x’s…..enough is enough already. Can you please take this to your supervisor for me and tell them of this huge problem. There must be something Dropbox can do to fix this problem as it concerns me to put my pictures in a program with so many problems and I haven’t even barely begun!! This has been going on since about the 16th of October…….I am beyond frustrated with doing it over and over. There MUST be a way for you to check my account and see my pics in there and the invite that was sent and that it is in fact downloaded almost 10 x’s to my computer. PLEASE HELP to find out why no lines remaining crossed off….would they do this to avoid giving me the 50GB space?? I know other people using Dropbox for business and they are very concerned with this whole fiasco and are losing their faith in the Dropbox program safety and it not doing what it should have done. My roommate is a professional photographer and has used Dropbox many times and he even helped me and is concerned that I am not getting the lines crossed off and the credited space. Please tell me what can be done??? I did all those 5 things and it will not cross them off or if it does it then removes it as if I never did it!! Please get help for us Anthony…….there must be someone who can help you correct this inability of Dropbox to cross off those lines after I do it?? PLEASE Anthony…..ask your tech support or the manager or supervisor??? Thanks so much for all your time….….so many days already and no resolution…….you must be getting almost as frustrated as me!! Oh Anthony……this is so poorly run. I loaded the program about 8 or 9 x’s on my computer….here is the link to my page. https://www.dropbox.com/gsI It would cross it off and then the next time it wasn’t crossed off!! Then I put pictures in to my folder and it would cross it off then all of a sudden the next day it wasn’t crossed off. I invited a friend and the same problem. I did everything several times and it was always the same problem. What to do?? Obviously the program is on my computer…..check the link. Why would I waste my time contacting you over and over if it credited me properly? Can you return the credit? Just check my account and you will see that 5 things are done!! IThis has taken me about 2 to 3 hours of my time. What is wrong with Dropbox that it will not leave the credits on??? Please HELP……..please.

Well, that is so strange, Anthony as I did them and sometimes they showed up credited and other times not??? Which ones are NOT showing as done now and can you help me get the credit for them as they are done. I can even REDO them if you help me make sure the credit shows and STAYS as I would do some of them about 6-8 times and it would give me credit and then remove it?? Is this a standard issue??? I am not impressed with Dropbox so far as they are not keeping to their word and make it almost impossible for people to get the credit when they do it! HELP! Hi Mar,

My apologies for the confusion. To view the "Getting Started" guide, you have to login to the Dropbox.com website using a web browser.

Paste this into your browser: https://www.dropbox.com/gs

You will need lo login to view this page. The completed steps will show a green line through them. The uncompleted will still be blue, and will not have a check mark next to them. You have to complete five total. You need at least three more based on what you submitted at the time of your ticket.

When I followed your instructions below my Galaxy Note 4 just restarted. The invite I got on it from Dropbox had said after I did the things they listed I would get 50 GB.

Android:
On Android devices running 4.0 or above, press and hold your smartphone's power and volume down buttons at the same time for 1-2 seconds. You should then hear a shutter noise and the screen will flash. A screenshot notification icon will also appear at the top of the screen. Tap on this notification to access your screenshot.

And when I go to my computer….which I downloaded second, all that came up is the pics I put in there. Where is this ‘getting started’ thingy to click on??

Hi Anthony……If you check, you will see I did all that and every time it would show a different number of check marks and never gave me credit for all I did. I even had to down load the program about 12 x’s so far and it still will not give credit. I did it all. Can you see why it won’t? Very very frustrating. Thanks, Marilyn

Hello, I keep getting differnt numbers of things fulfilled to get the credit. The 50 GB was to be credited once I followed thru with the 5 things which I have done. Is it possible to talk to someone, please? If so can you send me your phone number. I also would like to know how to transfer my pictures to Dropbox.

HELP???  OKAY......HERE IS THE BEST PROOF FOR YOU From another team member.....besides ANTONIO's....even though each of the 20 emails and 40 screenshots I tooke the time to send, th sent the new anthony did not have a cllue how to do it and handle the error and straighten it out.  BELOW....SEE...PROOF from your very own DROPBOX!!!  ...the review was completed as you can see,....and credited,  Errors still ocurred after that and how do you FIX this PLEASE??  How do I get it and how can I use it?  PLEASE HELP???
