Dropbox is full and has stopped syncing

Hello,
I'm searching for advice on why my Dropbox says it's full when it is not.
I have a basic Dropbox account which allows for 2 GB.
I have removed a lot of my files, and the storage still says it's full.
Most of the files stored in my Dropbox currently are small files.
I have tried clearing the deleted files and the cashe.
I have also tried to uninstall the app on my laptop and reinstall it after removing more files. None of this has worked.
Additionally, Dropbox says I'm using more space than what is showing on my computer.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this issue?

I appreciate any suggestions!

Hey @Kyle F, thanks for reaching out to us today!

Can you check your backups page, to see if you have any backups taking up your space?

Let me know what you find.

Hi Hannah,

I checked my backup page and I did not find any files in the backup page taking up storage.

Thank you for the response.

Thanks for the update, Kyle.

Can we actually reach out to you via email, to investigate?
