Dropbox (basic version) tells me my storage space is exhausted. There must be something wrong here, because I have deleted a LOT of files after I received that message the first. It seems to me that freed space is not reused? I have looked for "Trash" or "Deleted files", but there are none to be seen. It is more than a year since my gross deletion of files. 

 

Can somebody help me with this, please? Or else I feel forced to leave Dropbox, which has served me well for many years.

Hi @Tom-Erik Falla,

What exactly can be seen on your subscription page? There you can see how the account is empty or full. Did you take a look on the backups page too?

Subscription page says 2.8 GB used of 2.75 GB. But I have deleted a LOT of files, so how can that be?

Backup page says 0 files.

I have now deleted more (large!) files permanent. And reload of page shows more storage space available. Thanks for you help. I recognize the error was mine, after all.
