Storage Space
Looking for help with managing the storage space in your Dropbox account? Talk to the Dropbox Community and get advice from members.
My co workers sent me a link to sign up for the company drop box. It was for free 2GB. Upon my initial login, it states that I am out of space.
How can I be out of space when I haven't even started using it?

At a guess they have signed you up and then shared things with you. Shared folders use up the quota of everybody within the Share, so, if you need access to those files you will need to get more space I'm afraid. Either via www.dropbox.com/plans or www.dropbox.com/gs may help

The info about your space should definitely be there, so I want us to check if there's an issue.
