Hoe to sync and set everything online (diskusage)

Hoe to sync and set everything online (diskusage)

We have a Dropbox business account and we want to keep our storage online. When I install Dropbox on a new PC, it starts downloading the entire cloud (in a hidden cache file) and then on some PCs the hard drive gets full.

Additionally, I now get notification from users that when the sync site is complete, the files cannot be opened and must be made available offline first.

What am I doing wrong?

Hi @groetg, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Could you clarify what you mean regarding the storage usage in the cache folder?

Are you marking files as online-only?

Any other info or screenshots would be helpful!

I use online only indeed, the total cloud storage is 1 Tb in size and some computers only have 250 Gb. So I expect when a file is on online, it is not physically on the hard drive, but it is approachable as if it were on the hard drive (double-click it, then it should download and open it), that's how onedrive works too and other services.

Could you clarify what the issue is exactly, because the desktop app isn't showing any specific errors about disk space?
