How to clear my space, and receive my new files?

How to clear my space, and receive my new files?

Okay...I have been clearing (re-clearing and re-clearing) since roughly 8 this morning with it going on 3:16 in the afternoon. My Dropbox says the three downloads, one zip file and two other files are occupying 1.98 of 2.0 GBs. With the exception of the not-so-large zip file, the other files are seriously small.

So, I finally figured out how to successfully clear the Dropbox with the delete button. I went to PayPal to pay for two more somewhat small files to only download the receipt plus the original files. But, this time delete is not an option. Not delete, not re-delete, not delete again and again. But, this time, aside from the lack of a delete option, the files are blank. There are some options but they seem to be window dressing compared to actual anything. I have finally 1.88 GBs when the Dropbox should be empty.

I am computer illiterate in this case as I will probably not know how to return to this page. I attempted to look for a customer service number, but the only one I located is with something like "humanonly.com" or some other extension I would have steered my clients away from using.

How do I clear this Dropbox? Receive my new files?

In a rather bad mood right now,

Deb

Hi @Deb85, let's jump right into this!

So, there are two requests here: to clear your Dropbox space, and to also receive your new files.

Let's start with the deletion you mentioned: can you clarify which one of our platforms do you use, in order to do so? Desktop app, mobile app or website?

You also mentioned something about PayPal in order to receive your account. Did you mean you went ahead and upgraded your account or something different?

Lastly, as for the files you need to receive, can you let me know if they are shared folders, shared links or how exactly they were sent to you?

Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!
