Hi Guys,

My local Windows Dropbox is fully synced with my online Dropbox.  Windows Explorer file/properties shows my Dropbox folder is 576 MB but to my surprise, dropbox.com and dropbox app both say my dropbox is full. I have checked the plan tab and found my regular file size is 3.4 GB which is not correct. My shared folder only takes less than 100 MB. What is going on here? Why the discrepancy? Any inputs?

Thanks,

Tao

Hi!

I've opened a ticket weeks ago but nobody helped me.

TICKET #20764856

The thing it's that I don't have any document in the cloud and still looking FULL, like I'm using my 2 GB of storage of my basic account. That means that I can't use dropbox with the "free version", I have to do an upgrade or at last give up on this. I've sent all the information and screenshoots.

It's been a month, nobody cares.

Please, can anybody help me?

Thanks!

We have the same problem since 3 month, No one at Dropbox found a solution, fortunately I didn't take a paid plan.

Hi all,

We have files that amount to about 1 gb in our free account and no backup used,  but we are getting notifications that our account is out of space and it has stopped syncing. Could you help with this?

Are you a member of any shared folders? These take up space in your account as well. Take a look at the space usage on your Plan page. What does it show for Regular, Shared and Unused space? Also, you say you're not using Backup, but have you checked the Backups page, just to be certain?

yes, I have checked and do not have any backup space used. As per my shared folders, all of them account for less than 1 gb

In my storage used, I see normal files are 3gb, but I can't see that in my folders.
