Storage menu doesn't appear to make new files offline only and selective sync is gone

I just bought a new MacBook Pro, and when the Dropbox app was installed, the easy right clicking of files to make them available offline or online stopped appearing.

Going into the preferences and selecting the sync menu revealed that there was no Storage menu to make files default to online only. The account and app were working on the old Mac.

Hey @MDP1, thanks for reaching out to the Dropbox Community.

Would you mind sending us a screenshot of the options you see when you right click on your files in the Dropbox folder?

Also, if you go through the app's preferences, in the Sync tab, do you see that your Dropbox folder is located in ~/Library/CloudStorage?

A screenshot of that tab, would also be really helpful.

Thanks in advance!

Here's what the right click menu looks like. There should be a "Make offline" option there, but it's gone.

Hey @MDP1, can you check for the app version that you're using, and let me know?

You can find this by locating your Dropbox icon on your menu bar, next to your WiFi and hovering your mouse over there.

Also, when you access your Dropbox folder, can you see any Dropbox icons next to your files/folders?

I'm having the same problem, did you find a solution?

Hey @shaysd, sorry to hear about this.

Could you send us a screenshot of the app's exact status and version as shown in your menu bar and another one of your Sync tab under the app's preferences?

Thanks!
