Storage space is full

My account says my storage is full when I only have one folder saved with minimal documents. I don’t see how my storage is full.

Is it a shared folder? www.dropbox.com/account/plan will show you what space you have

Or, have you accidentally triggered backup? www.dropbox.com/backups

My account says iim using 2.4 GB of 2.25 GB;
2.2 GB is regular files
150.6 MB is shared files

I deleted all but one folder off my account to free up space. But it says I’m still over. I don’t understand because I’ve always had 4 folders on my account with word and excel documents saved and never had a problem. So deleting 3 folders surely should have made a difference.

I don’t know how to backup files with Dropbox. Not sure what I would have done to trigger something like that.

Have you checked the Backups page that Mark linked to? If so, does it list any backups?
