I have deleted everything except a shared folder that is 1.1GB. I have deleted them permanently.

Thank you for your response. I had previously checked the Backups page, and there 0 files at 0 bytes, and the problem remains. I also permanently deleted all files days ago.

I have been searching online forums for solutions for days. I am becoming convinced that there are only two options: 1) delete my Dropbox account and then create an entirely new account; 2) fall for a scam and pay the fee to upgrade my account.

Any other suggestions?
