Why is my storage full?

Why is my storage full?

Why do I get the message that my storage is full when it isn't?? I deleted 95% of my files and it still shows that it is full and won't let me use it. I've restarted and re-installed Dropbox, but still says it's full. How do I get past this? Thanks!

Hi @Daven1969, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

How much quota are you using on your account according to this page?

Do you have any backups currently running on your account?

This will help me to assist further!

I didn't realize that Dropbox was backing up multiple hard drives, so I was able to delete a bunch of files and free up some space, so crisis solved. Thanks for your quick reply!
