Your dropsbox is full error

Your dropsbox is full error

I made my dropbox account yesterday and only have one shared folder that takes up about 1.4 MB of space. Dropbox keeps telling me my storage is full when it is not, and somehow it shows I have the rest of the space used up with other files that simply aren´t there. There are no deleted files because my account is new.

How can I solve this?

You likely activated the Backup feature during the install. Check your Backups page.

I didn't activate Backup on instalation. I skipped that part.

Even still, have you checked the Backups page? Is there anything listed there? Also, take a look at your Plan page. What does it show for your usage between regular and shared files?

My Backup Page is empty (no files). It even prompted me to set it up when I opened it.

My Plan Page says that 2 GB have regular files (that are nowhere to be seen, and tha I did not upload at any point) and 1.4 MB in a shared file (the ony documents I uploaded).
