we have basic account;

we had 6GB of free space because we invited some friends to use dropbox (refferral); I think for error, we start the free trial of "plus" service and we stopped immediatelly coming back to basic account.

but since some days the available space came back to 2GB only. Why we had loose the extra space we get for free with referral?

After downgrading your Dropbox account, you should have indeed kept your referral space. 

 

Can you please click on this link, and let me know how much space you see on that page?

Hi Nancy!
Thx a lot for your reply and help.
I can see the 6.5GB that I had before trial accident (so it's 2GB for basic + some referrals).
Nevertheless, I have a message warning that the account is now full and synchronization is stopped.

So I cannot use Dropbox.

And I cannot contact customer service because we are (now back) a basic account 😞

Hi @igindustrie, if you're using all your available quota, then it means that you have too many files on your account, or are trying to sync.

 

Is it possible you've enabled the computer backup or external drive backup on your account?
