someone sent me a link to upload files to their box. but dropbox has stopped the process saying i don't have enough space in my personal account.

 

i'm not trying to load into my folder - i'm trying to load into theirs using the link they sent me.

 

i don't know what to do. thank you,.

But you are uploading to your account.

 

Most likely you were sent an invitation to a shared folder. When you accept a shared folder, you get your own COPY of the folder in your account, and anything in that folder, regardless of who uploaded it, takes up space in your account. If your account is full and you need to add more to the folder, you need to upgrade your account. The other option is to ask the recipient to send you a File Request instead.
