Dropbox SSO and 2-step verification

Level 10

Is there any way that Dropbox can have both SSO and 2-step verification?  I read in this article that you can't use Dropbox 2-step with SSO. Just checking if it is because now the SSO provider needs to be the one to provide the 2-step verification?

Re: Dropbox SSO and 2-step verification

Hey there (@mxoh), thanks for checking in with us on the Dropbox Community on this inquiry!
While you can set your SSO options to either optional or required for your team, it will not be possible to have some team members using the SSO and others using direct sign in & that is the reason why the Dropbox two-step verification will be disabled when using SSO (i.e. I'm merely confirming your initial assumption). From there, can you elaborate a bit on which your identity provider you’re currently using, just in order to make sure I’m following-up on the right thing?
Thanks in advance & I hope you have a wonderful Monday ahead!
