Cannot find downloaded folder

Cannot find downloaded folder

miniman

Hi,

I downloaded a folder 2GB in size, which contains folders within and mp4 files from the Dropbox app on my Android Smartphone.

I did this by holding my finger on the name of the folder and when the cloud symbol with the download arrow popped up, pressed it and a download progress bar appeared. It downloaded in a normal time frame although I cannot find it on the phone anywhere.

Any idea where it should be and where I am going wrong?

Thanks!

Hey @miniman, thanks for reaching out to the Dropbox Community!

The process you're following is actually one that will make this folder "available offline".

That means it's not saved locally on your device, but you can access it from the Dropbox app, without being connected to the internet.

If you want to export/download the files in this folder to your device, you can follow the steps in this article.

Let me know if you have any questions!
