Re: Downloading files efficiently

Downloading files efficiently

It’s very hard and takes plenty, really plenty of time to download files manually. Is there any way to improve and accelerate this process?

Hello @Lupi , and thank you for reaching out to Dropbox Community.

If you are downloading files to a computer, the most efficient way is to download the files via the Dropbox Desktop App

The desktop app mirrors the contents of your Dropbox account, on your hard drive.

If you want to have a copy of the files stored locally, you can right click the Dropbox folder, or any sub-folder, and select "Make Available Offline".

On a mobile device, it is not possible to download a large number of files via the Dropbox Mobile app, but you can still select files to be available offline.

You can do that by either starring the file, or by pressing the ellipsis (...) next to the file. and toggling Make Available Offline.

Cheers!

Hi. I’m still atuck and my library is a mess. I don’t know where to start from. I moved to a new MacBook and I’m very disappointed with both: Apple and Dropbox.
