Dropbox App Links

Dropbox App Links

Every time I link CloudPlayer link removed and scan to add file links (not download) Dropbox counts my links against the daily download limits. My music folders have been suspended because of this. This is not logical, as I am simply linking my cloud files to my streaming app. Is there an explanation for this?

It almost certainly is logical - the app is downloading and syncing the files via links. Therefore it uses quota. Dropbox has no way of distinguishing what type of data it is. This is something you need to take up with the developer and ask if they can change how they do it.

Hi @Roswei, I hope you're doing well!

I'm afraid not. You can't up the limit.

If you have any other questions, let me know!
