Dropbox claims that there are 40 files in my folder, however there are 45. Why?

hello! why does the dropbox app on my pc indicate that there are 40 files in one of my folders when i counted 45 in the same folder on the storage itself?

When you say you counted 45 files in the storage itself, can you let me know more about this? What steps did you follow in order to check this?
