How to undo multiple duplicate folders

I started downloading/syncing my archive folder yesterday so that I could have a good sort out. I normally only keep it in Dropbox cloud.

Unfortunately, as it was downloading, I renamed all the folders and now I have duplicates, eg:

1 marketing
01 marketing

The number was the only thing I changed in the names.

Is it possible to roll back to before I started the download? Or is there a way to automatically compare and dedube the contents of the folders?

Give it time - it may sort itself.

Even if it doesnt you couldnt get a 'restore' done until it was finished.

If you want a rollback you can get that at www.dropbox.com/support and track at http://dropbox.zendesk.com

Has Dropbox finished downloading and syncing yet?

You may find if not it actually manages to correct itself 🙂

No, it's still downloading, so maybe I should wait and see if it sorts itself out. I'm not hopeful though, because the extra folders are also online.
