InDesign files aren't fully opening on Win11 after being downloaded from Dropbox

Whenever I try to download an InDesign file (.indd) it opens InDesign but stops opening the file at around 20% and freezes the InDesign app. This only happens with a couple files in the same folder, not with all InDesign files. This happens with both the Dropbox web app and the downloaded app in the file explorer. I am using Windows 11.

Thanks for posting about this on the Community, @brad-f1!

If possible, I’d like a couple of screenshots showing the issue you describe.

Also, to clarify, does it look like the files have been fully downloaded when this happens or are there issues while downloading from Dropbox?

If you open the Dropbox folder on your computer, what syncing icon do you see next to these files (feel free to send an image of it, too)?

Keep me in the loop.
