Suddenly lost access to all Dropbox files using my ipad Air 2 but still accessible on my iphone 11. Did I hit the wrong key somewhere? Please help

thanks but this did not help. What did work was uninstalling Dropbox app and re-installing.

Bingo! Problem solved, but I fail to understand why such a step works in many cases, as with modems/ routers etc and why it should be necessary.

When you say your lost access, can you please clarify if you're using the mobile app or a web browser to access your files?

 

Are you getting any specific errors perhaps?
