I can play the video but after I download it there is no image, only sound. I am trying to load into imovie but cannot do this with the .mov  file.

Hello @macnpam - welcome to our Community!

So, from what I understand you're able to preview a video file normally on our website but when you download it to play it locally on your device with the 3rd party app you mentioned (imovie) it only has audio while it lacks the image - correct?

If that's indeed the case, there might be a missing codec from your device or the program you're using to access the file in question.

Could you try another program - similar to the one you mentioned - and let me know if you notice the same behavior?

If I'm misunderstanding something here do let me know please while any additional information will be appreciated too!
