Unable to access password-protected files

My DropBox files are suddenly asking for a password in order to view them...This just seemed to happen spontaneously one day.

I don't recall having password-protected my files, and none of the passwords that I've tried have been successful...any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hi @szm358, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

 

Are you experiencing this behavior on files that you're accessing via the Dropbox site directly, or when they're on your machine in the Dropbox folder?

 

Does it affect specific file types, or any file on your account?

 

Any other info or screenshots would be helpful!
