Unable to download Camera Uploads photos to my laptop

Unable to download Camera Uploads photos to my laptop

Hey! I was syncing my iPhone photos to dropbox and they were saved in a folder automatically titled "Camera Uploads" on Dropbox.

I ran out of space and Dropbox is asking me to upgrade but I would not like to upgrade for now and download my files and delete my account. When I click on the download folder, it says "Zip Download Failed". So, I selected all images in the folder and clicked on download and it showed the same error message. That being said, I am able to download each photo individually. Won't want to download over 1000 photos individually.

I even tried to download the dropbox app on my laptop but that folder is only available on the web for me to access.

Could you guide me on to how download all the images?

Thank you!

Hi @ishb1, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

If the folder contains over 10000 files, or is greater than 20 GB, then it wouldn't be able to create the zip to download the folder.

However, you should be able to install the Dropbox desktop application. While it isn't possible to sync changes when the account is overquota, the existing files should sync to your machine. Could you clarify what you see in Explorer/Finder in the Dropbox folder with a screenshot?

This will help me to assist further!
