Hello,
I have an old basic version of dropbox where I have 6.53G of data. I would like to save this data on my hard drive and I can't. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Hey there @Jose3333 - thanks for joining our Community and happy Friday!

Can you please let us know some additional information about the issue you're having so that we can assist further?

For example, what are the steps you take to do this? Are you getting any particular errors? What is your device's OS?

Keep us posted and we'll take it from there.

Thank you for your help.
I have an old version of dropbox - dropbox basic - with 6.53G of data. I am under Ubuntu. I don't see how to export my data to a hard drive. I can take a screenshot if necessary.

Are you not able to log into your account through a web browser and download your files from there @Jose3333

Thanks for your reply, @Jose3333.

I would suggest logging in to your account on dropbox.com and going to the "all files" page to locate your files.

From there you can download them to your computer and then move them to the hard drive you prefer.

Hey Jose, hope you’re doing great!

What I’d like you to do is hover over a folder whose files you’d like to download locally, and let me know if there’s a button with 3 vertical dots showing on it after that.

If there is, you can click on it, and choose the “Download” option from the dropdown menu.
