Hello --
I hope this is the correct category. If not, my apologies.
I need to download mp3 clips for a class. No matter what I do, my iphone is overtaken by dl/dropboxcontent ..... I need to be able to loop the mp3 so this does not work for me. Nor can I find the mp3 in my Dropbox itself.
Please help. I am so frustrated at what should be a very simple process.
Thank you.

What do you mean your "iphone is overtaken"?
I need to be able to loop the mp3 so this does not work for me.
You won't be able to loop the file. Dropbox is not a media player. It has some basic media functionality but that's all. There are no options for looping a track. To get a real media experience you'll want to open the file in an actual media player, and you can't do that from a share link. You'd need to locate the file within your Dropbox account and open it that way.
If you're receiving a file through a share link from someone else, you'll need to save the file to your own account first, then open the file in another application that has the media features you require.
Hi. Thank you for your response. There IS no app. I am on the course website and the assignment has an audio clip with an option to download it. No matter what I do, it defaults to that dl/dropboxcontent "site". Further, the clip is nowhere to be found in any of my Dropbox files. Can you help? Thanks.
Thanks, Rich. Love my iphone but ... sometimes. Okay, very interesting! Had NO idea this could be from someone else's Dropbox. Weird for an online course. Thanks again.
