taking files out of my dropbox account and moving them to a hardrive

i was given this link by the chat support person but it didn't help https://help.dropbox.com/sync/download-entire-folders

There are over 1,000 file about down load, where do i start? who has 10 years to go through and try to figure it out from them to get an answer?

Do you have the Dropbox desktop application installed, and enough space on your hard drive to sync them down?
