No, I'm not a Dropbox employee so I wont give out info on here.
Why not just put them on Dropbox and use www.dropbox.com/help/175 to get a shared link?

then it might take 3 hours to download that. let me try.
The reason you've uploaded a 2gb file and are seeing a 8mb one on your machine is they are two different files......
One is called 'Oct21 2014.....' and is 8mb - thats the one you are looking at its preferences
Second is called '2014-09-12.....' and is 2.1gb which is what you uploaded.

none of my files is 2.10GB.
Patrice E., MarcMc has correctly answered your question, but you apparently do not 'get it.' Perhaps someone else has access to your account or your computer files and has placed the larger file in your dropbox folder.
If you put something into dropbox you are "uploading" or "syncing" it. If you get a file from dropbox.com (web) then you are "downloading" it.
I am the only one using the computer.
I was uploading a 8 second video, 9MB in www.dropbox.com.
www.dropbox.com has a glitch. You guys need to update. see what is the problem.
All I did was drag the video into my dropbox account.
Patrice,
You can put a file in your dropbox-folder; you should not try to use the dropbox.com web interface at this point.
It does not tell us what you did if you use the words "dropbox account" - it should be dropbox.com OR dropbox-folder.
I put all my file in dropbox folder yesterday after you asked
"Are you using dropbox.com or your dropbox folder?"
I didn't know that I can put them in dropbox folder.
