Is there an easy way to disable the email notification for each time someone uploads to my FileRequest folder ? I've attempted to turn off most notifications in settings.
I have this same question. My email is getting filled with messages from Dropbox. I have turned all of the notifications under settings on Dropbox and I am still getting these emails. I tried to contact Dropbox and they blew me off.
I have not found a solution, and Dropbox don't appear to be addressing this. I now use an email rule to send anything I receive from Dropbox to trash. Means I don't get any marketting from them either... feels a little like natural retribution. I'll begin to look at Dropbox emails again when they provide a switch to turn off file upload email notifications.
yes, PLEASE DropBox! I have entire courses of students uploading files, and now I get a stupid amount of "dropbox spam" in the form of file upload alert emails. This is making me nuts. I need to be able to TURN THIS OFF.
I need to know how to turn off e-mail notifications under file requests. There are two types of e-mail notifications that you get and that I want to STOP receiving:
When you request a file from a large number of people and you receive an email every time a file is uploaded. This is horrible for someone who requests files from 30 people several times a day with several different file requests.
How to turn off the e-mail notifications when you create a new file request. Sometimes I create several file requests at one time and I am receiving e-mails everytime.
#1 Is a fixable issue and Dropbox should address this concern if they want basic users like me to consider paying for an ugraded account.
