I currently have two accounts. My primary account is a full paid up account that syncs my personal files to my computer. This includes work files (I teach), game data, pictures, money related etc... A lot of this is therefore personal and I want to keep access to it as restricted as possible. Now, I teach. I therefore have many many files that are stored in my Dropbox and are used at work and edited at home. I therefore have a second account that shares a folder with my main account that has work files. At work, I log into this second account and it never even offers to sync my personal files onto a work computer. Sadly, I work on many PCs. This means that I would hit the three PC limit if I installed Dropbox on each PC I teach from, so I need an alternative system. Selective sync is not an acceptable answer as it would leave it possible to download private files to a work computer. I would therefore like to suggest an option for "Limited Access Sub Accounts". These would be alternative usernames and passwords (with 2fa) that would have access to a limited set of directories in the main account. Example: My main account has Banking Camera Uploads CV Games Pictures Work I could create a sub account called "Gaming@email" that would only give me access to Games but I might create a sub account called "Work@email" that would have access to Camera uploads Work This way, at an internet cafe I could access my dropbox for gaming details and could install Dropbox across the PCs at work without compromising my main account security. I hope that makes sense.
