Hi Pikamander2, first of all, thank for answering. That's my situation: 1. Yes, I'm sure that syncing and/or uploading process has finished. Files and folders are missing when the uploading process had come to an end. During the process, Dropbox doesn’t report any error; it seems as Dropbox has skipped those files or those folders. 2. No, they have commons names of pics as "IMG67050" or similar. Folders just have the name of the author of the photo. 3. No, Dropbox doesn't show me any bad files. 4. I've used both the desktop app and the website version to upload and the problem still occurs. Do you know if there's a way to compare uploaded files with the source files in my HD? The thing that matters for me right now is an easy way to check which files Dropbox doesn't have upload, in order to upload them again. Strangely, when I re-upload the missing files or folders Dropbox uploads them correctly. Thank you very much.

Hi there, my name is Cecilia and I work with a professional account on Dropbox.
I'm uploading a very big photo archive (a lot of photos, from 2009 to 2019); the archive is organised in folders by year and each folder has several subfolders. The archive is located on an external HD, connected to my computer (Mac).
Unfortunately, I noticed that Dropbox sometimes does not upload some subfolders or some photos, whether using Dropbox online or using the app or the software.
So, right now I'm in a very annoying situation: I have to check each folder and its contents on Dropbox with the original folder on the HD source. I'm pretty sure that the problem is not related to the Wi-Fi, I have a good fibre optic connection.
Is there a way to easily compare the files and the files' size on Dropbox and my source HD? (I mean, better than do it manually!) Furthermore, which could be the reason for not uploading some files? I already asked on Dropbox Community but I did not receive any answers.
Thank you very much for your patience and your attention!
