Hi Walter, thanks for getting in touch so quickly! Appreciate it. Yes, I found soembody else on this forum that was having a similar issue and they explained the shared-folder and the shared-link diffrence. So thanks for confirming that is what is going on. I'll check with them to see if they are on the Dropbox Business plan, might help as well. Thanks again! Grant

Hello, can somebody help me with this 'out of space' issue please.
I have my own Dropbox account (Dropbox Basic, currently empty) connected to my own Google account.
I also have access to the Dropbox account of the company that I do work for, I access it under a Google account email given to me by the company, I'm assuming it was connected to the company's Dropbox account as some sort of user to the whole account . So it has nothing to do with my own account, as far as I can tell.
The company Dropbox account is currently telling me that I am out of space and need to upgrade; the other company users don't have this problem, the company's plan is the 2 TB plan. Why would this be happening, and should I be experiencing this problem? How do I fix it so that when the company shares a folder to me I don't get this 'need to upgrade plan' message? I don't want to have to upgrade to use their plan from which I just download files. (Looking at the settings for the Dropbox account having this problem it also shows as being Dropbox Basic; am guessing that's where the problem lies, can the company change this from their own Dropbox accountsettigns soemhow?).
I am quite confused over this so any assistance will be greatly appreaciated.
