Thanks so much, Jonathan. Calling Dropbox's recent activities sleazy would be incredibly polite and reserved, considering. It's unfortunate that they went so long not being evil that people got dependent on them - myself included. But ethical activity - more than actual price itself - will make me drop a company.

The solution is to leave dropbox and not give them your money for an overpriced product. This limit is absolutely ridiculous and I fail to see the point of this application anymore. The point of dropbox is to be able to access files on different devices - I had it linked to my home and work desktops, my laptop, my iphone, and just got an ipad and tried to link it when I got this message. Oh, I can unlink devices? Well thanks very much, but there's no point - if they aren't linked, then I don't see the point of dropbox anyway. Upgrade to pro? No freakin way - I don't need 2 TB of space. Like others, I'd pay for an increase in devices, but almost $12/month? Please - I get unlimited streaming to television and movies for that price. For less than $120.00 I could buy a 5TB drive, yet you're charging $200 *every year* for only 3TB space. It's money-grubbing and vile. I'm so angry because I just paid for an app on my ipad that requires dropbox and didn't find out about this until I went to sign in on my ipad. I've now paid for a useless app because you didn't bother to inform anyone! I'm so disappointed in this company.
