I'm having the same issue, with 'invalid email' on my Galaxy S4. I didn't have a problem the last time I opened the app. Suddenly, rather than showing my folders/files as usual, it was the sign in page, as if I'd never done so. My phone has been linked to DB for several years and I pay a plus subscription. I've been a member for nearly 10 yrs with hardly a problem. The same email has been used on the website and all devices. My os is Lollipop, DB version 7.2.8. I know the app is an older version, but I can not update it at this time. My phone doesn't have enough space left. I've been relying on DB primarily to backup whatever content can be (pics, videos, files) so I can make space on my phone and free up enough to update some crucial apps like DB. A few months ago, I recieved an email about an update and iOS apps, and knew that my 4th & 5th gen iPod Touches would no longer work with DB. But that was okay, because there are a plethora of 3rd party programs on the computer for backing up iDevices--not so with Android. I'm going to get a new phone, but only when I can guarantee all my thousands of pics, and various other content and apps with the data can be safely backed up. I NEED db to work on my phone in order to back up what I can. (As for the apps, I'm still searching for something.) I have an old version of Chrome on my phone, which I can login to db and see my files, but not sure if I can use it to upload to. I am not in a business, don't share folders, or colaborate. I don't sync or upload batches either. I work better and prefer doing 1 file at a time, no matter how painstakingly tedious. I've always used this as a personal file storage account and go between from my devices and a computer (via the website, no sync folder on desktop). I don't see why the app would need to be updated for the same basic fuction as the website--simply uploading/downloading files. According to the email I recieved, which led me to a help page, my android met the requirements for the db app to work. It did not say that in June older android app versions would cease to work and a mandatory update would be required. In fact, the opposite was said to other users with similiar questions -- that the older apps would work to a degree as long as their device met the requirements. Now I don't know what else to do if I can't get db to work on my phone. Years worth of memories with no way of backing them up.
