Hi @Lusil I found the setting in my online account and changed it to "no betas" but unfortunately that didn't do the trick. I'm on 74.4.115 now and the system settings still don't show the dialog described in your manual. Restart of the system didn't help either. Any ideas? Best Simon ... View more

First of all, who on earth doesn't post the actual solution? I got it to work. There was a setting on my mac preventing it to work. Thank you for your replies. What was it?  The problem OP posted sounds like the problem I have here. I have a 15" MBP with macOS Mojave (10.14.5) here and I looked through the official Dropbox Guide for this, but it refers to High Sierra and it seems there is some new way this does not work properly on newer OSes.
