I have two (admin) user accounts set up on my mac (High Sierra 10.14.2) and i'd like to share the dropbox folder amongst them (as it obviously doesn't make sense to have duplicate files on my HD).
When placing Dropbox in the shared folder and setting up permissions correctly, i am having weird issues – the Dropbox folder in this location seems to switch back and forth in its accessibility (little red 🚫-icon appears and disappears repeatedly)
any help? after having major issues with dropbox and high sierra in general – please don't tell me this is not possible! \o/

Macbook pro, 15-inch 2017, 2.9GHz Intel Core i7, 16GBRam tested on MacOS High Sierra 10.13 and 10.13.2 in the dropbox app, i click enable smart sync i'm prompted to open preferences and click "allow" to finish setting up smart sync within the preference-pane (security & privacy) set to "allow downloads from app store and identified developers", there's no option for allowing dropbox i can confirm that i'm running an admin account i can confirm that dropbox is is enabled under privacy » accessibility i can confirm that smart sync works for my account (as i have it running on my iMac, too) i've attached a few screenshots that should show my settings. for my understanding, everything's correct here. yet, dropbox still doesn't enable smart sync (continues to prompt me with "allow dropbox in preferences" when i try to enable it) would be gracious if you guys could help me out! thanks benni
